If you attend a training or demo session that we host on a videoconferencing platform, we may record such sessions for quality assurance and internal training purposes. In such a case, we may collect your image/video likeness and any Personal Information shared during the session. If you do not agree to our collection of your image/video likeness, you may turn off your webcam or ask that your session not be recorded.
We collect Personal Information from our Clients and/or Account Holders in order to provide the Services to them. This Personal Information is generally submitted directly by you, and may include your name, profile name, email address, phone number, address, city, province/state, postal/zip code, business name, business address, industry, and profile photo or avatar.
If you subscribe for the Services, you may be required to provide your payment card details. All online card transactions for BIS products are processed by BIS. You should only provide your Personal Information to BIS after reviewing and confirming that you agree with the processing of your Personal Information as described in BIS’s Privacy Policy. We do not retain any record of your payment card information, unless you are purchasing a custom (i.e. non-BIS) product directly from us. We use your payment card information solely to process payments you make to us and for fraud prevention and detection purposes.

Information collected from or about our Clients may be used to verify your identity; manage our relationship with you (e.g., registering your account; internal accounting and administration; notifying you about changes to this Policy, asking you to leave a review or take a survey); and perform a contract we may have with you, including to provide the Services you have subscribed to (e.g., to allow you to access or view content on the Website), to provide customer service, to answer your questions and to respond to your requests. We may also create and maintain a customer profile to enable us to serve you better. Client payment information is used to manage payment, fees and charges and collect and recover money owed to us. Your Personal Information may be accessed by or disclosed to employees of the Company who have a need to know such information. Such employees may include the Managing Director, HR Advisor, HR Generalist, Learning and Development Specialist, IT Helpdesk, Network Administrator, Social Media and Communications Specialists and those within Corporate and or Shared Services depending upon the information they each require in order to perform their job duties and responsibilities.
We will store your Personal Information in Canada, including at our offices in British Columbia, and on third-party data servers (including servers hosted by AWS Canada). In addition, we may transfer or store your Personal Information outside of Quebec or Canada as laid out at “International Transfers of Personal Information” above.
The Company has implemented reasonable administrative, organizational, technical and physical measures in an effort to safeguard the Personal Information in our custody and control against theft, loss and unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure.
